My dog went outside and threw up and then fell over.  He laid there like he was dead.  I really thought that he was dead.  I screemed and he didn't move.  I was so scared.  Does anyone know what to do?

When did this happen? Is he moving yet? Did he get some chocolate or other people food?  You can feel his chest area to see if he is breathing but i dont know how to check pulse.

i hope you update soon with good news : ) Maybe he just got ahold of something yucky outside? Ate grass with fertilizer on it? Ate his poop? If he is a big dog, maybe his stomach rolled?

I'm sorry, i couldnt find the post i was talking about.  The title was something like, "I had this idea......"

A lot of people replied to that post though, so maybe someone else will be able to find it!  Good luck!

It could have been a seizure.  Did he get into any sugar free stuff.  I think it's something called Xylotol?  that is an artificial sweetener that causes a rapid blood sugar drop in dogs that leads to seizure.  sugar free gum, that sort of thing
