Mine will be gone from 12pm til 10:30pm..They dicided not to shut the rig down for Thanksgiving...My kids are so disappointed..they really were hoping to see him over the holiday...He works 7 days a week and Thursday off was gonna be a big deal to them...:(

S/O and I both work. We don't get a holiday for it over here in China so it would pass right by without my even knowing but I love Thanksgiving so we are going to celebrate it on the following Monday which we both have off. Can't wait!

Other right here. My husband works on a wharf, buying and selling lobster. If any one decides to go fishing my husband will have to go in to work. More than likely he will have the day off but we never know until that morning.

I have no idea if my hubby will be working. So far he should be home.

yep I am an "other" .... he will be at home and I will be working.  double and 1/2 is to hard to pass up just for a turkey.

My s/o has to work from 3pm to 11pm. Unfortunately, in his job it's very  hard to get off on a holiday.

I know exactly HOW hard it is..,which is why it's so surprising that my husband won't be working on Thanksgiving.Hopefully your Officer can get Christmas off!

Not only is he working but he's also thousands of miles away. He was supposed to not leave before the Nov 30th and I was so happy because we haven't had a thanksgiving together for the past 4 years. And than last saturday they called and said he had to leave last monday. I was so pissed, stupid army..
