I am ashamed to call myself a woman. - EDITED TO ADD..
Sometimes, I'm ashamed to call myself a woman. I think I need to come up with a new word, because I do not want to be associated with those that think the government should control our bodies. SO many fought for us to have rights, and now after given these rights they're just being taken for granted and people are trying to get them taken away? Really? WHY would you want the government to be able to FORCE a woman to give birth? To BREASTFEED? To do ANYTHING with her body that she didn't want to? Next, there's sterilization. OMG if you're on food stamps you need to be sterilized. I wonder how many men think this way... or if they are smart enough to say "her body, her choice".
*Sigh*
ETA: On a side note, if the gov't forces those on PA to breastfeed.. you realize there will not only be a lot of starving babies (because the moms are either uneducated and can't figure out how to BF, or give up, or because they truly just can NOT breastfeed, or even bc they have to WORK), but you are also taking away the mothers right to smoke or drink while they have to breastfeed. Or maybe they will continue to drink, smoke pot, whatever.. and the baby will be intoxicated and/or drugged. That's just ANOTHER anti-choice perk! Starving and/or drugged babies. WOO HOO!
If we get one choice taken away, more and more are to come. The world is already ran by men. Why give them MORE power? Over OUR bodies?? Women need to unite as one, whether they are pro-choice or pro-life and realize that giving the government MORE control of women's bodies is NOT the answer. :/

You should never be ashamed to call youself a woman. To be a woman is a great thing. Not all women want the government to control there bodies. I am proud to be a woman and I accept all the things that goes with it. I try my best to lead by example and that includes standing up and fighting for what I think is right.

I am disgusted with what "woman" today means. And what comes along with it. I would be so sad if my daughters grew up to be women like that. I pray that never happens, but with more and more women thinking the way they do... I sometimes wonder. The women who think this way and are so anti-choice need to give their rights BACK and be home barefoot and pregnant and waiting on their husbands hand and foot!

Oh wow, I didn't know that being Pro-life meant I wasn't a "real" woman who had a right to an opinion..........sorry, I think your body comes second to the right of an INNOCENT child to live.
How many innocent children have you adopted?

I totally agree. This is why 99% of my friends (outside of family) are men. Men aren't like this at all. If I told my husband about the controversy surrounding breast/formula feeding or vag birth v. csection or any of the other "none of your goddamn business" controversies on here he'd be speechless - and that's hard as hell to do!
