We did.  It really makes you stop and think before you say or do something you might regret later.  Good Luck.  Halfway through is when it really gets hard.

I'm on day 32.

Some days are easier than others.

The first few days, you have to really watch yourself and how you treat your spouse.  They involve deliberate acts of kindness. Some people, especially those who are filled with resentment...will find this part hard.

Then it gets into self-reflection and really taking a look at your own weakness and "sins."  Those of us who view ourselves as darn near perfect have a really hard time with this part.

Now it looks like we're getting into the qualities of marriage and unity...making marriage a priority second only to God.  This may be the most difficult part for me, because I'm so career-driven and then of course there's that mothering thing I've got going on.

Even though I haven't finished the book yet, I really feel that I've learned how to find that serenity that brings strength and patience.  It transcends into my parenting style and my professional life, and I really appreciate the person I've become over the past few months.

And yes, I said the past few months because certain dares took me longer than one day.
