a dessert or something that does not need refridgeration?????

we are going to SO's sister's house for Thanksgiving, which is like 4-5 hours away.  She told us to just bring ourselves, but I didn't want to show up empty handed.  I was considering making some Martha Washington candies, but I wanted to know if you ladies had any other ideas that won't spoil on that long of a trip.

Most fruit pies would be fine, quick breads like pumpkin, or there are always cookies.
