I can now officially consider myself a member of the "Mean Mommies" club! LOL
My 5 year old told me that I was mean because, after giving the kids all morning to clean their room, I set a timer for 45 minutes and when it went off, I took toys that were still on the ground!
Who else is a member?

not only am I a member but I think I am the president cause both my kids and my grandkids have said this!

yep i do the same thing.. my kids are 2 and 3 1/2 tho so mostly its "if you throw that toy at me its going in the trash".. hehe
but my 3 1/2 yr old one time wasnt wanting to clean so i said "i guess all this is trash, you dont wanna pick it up?" he said "throw it all away".. then he picked it all up and put it in the trash, i thought well either way he cleaned the room up.. lol
Oooh me too! Can I be a member too?!
My 8yo stepson had an issue last year about putting the toilet seat up to pee - was pissing all over the seat, and you know how that splatters. Told him the next time I find pee on the seat, he will clean the toilet. He's only had to clean the toilet 3 times in a year for THAT issue.
All of a sudden, a month ago, he can't remember to put the seat down. We have him every week, Thursday thru Sunday, and we have had to tell him 5 or 6 times a day, EVERY DAY he's with us to put the damn seat down. What's a girl to do? Make him clean the toilet!! Told him he gets 2 warnings - third time he cleans the toidy. He had to clean the toilet twice in less than 24 hours this last weekend. He put the seat down the rest of the weekend. We don't have him for Turkey Day this year, so we'll see what happens when he comes back over NEXT Thursday.
