I just dropped half a bowl of chicken and stars..
All over my carpeted dining area.
WHY did they put carpet in the dining area?!
And as I'm cleaning it up my 3 yr old keeps saying "Mommy, what did you do THAT for?!"
Then the 1yr old who already thinks throwing food is fun is laughing his little butt off and chucking more tiny little stars at my head.
*sigh*
I'm so ready for bed time.
So how is your day going? I sure hope better than mine!
We ripped our carpet out of the dining room not too long ago. (It was there when we moved in!) Although I hate mopping/sweeping it CONSTANTLY, I'm glad the wood is there instead of carpet. I have one child who spills at almost EVERY meal! LOL
As for YOUR accident....I swear, I'm not laughing ;) Hope your day gets better!
lol Yeah yeah, you can laugh at me, after a few minutes I did too :P And a few candy bars!!!
I keep telling DH I want this carpet up! It's old carpet and is stained and just looks nasty! Plus its leads out the sliding glass door so the dog is constantly getting her dirty paws on it.. and the kids spill/throw food. I just want it out and to put tile down!
I STILL love chicken and stars. It was my helping that is now cleaned up and in the trash lol
I have no clue either. The new house that we are moving into has brown short sag carpet in the dinning room.So I have to buy and area rug and plastic to go under the area rug so we can eat in there. She called it the second "family room",but she put in new wood flooring in the kitchen. That has no eat in area.So it's going to be interesting at meal times. My daughter still gets more on her then in her it seems.lol!!
Oh I am SO against carpet in dining areas!! Our whole upstairs is wood floors except my bedroom and the older boys room. Once I get a chance I am ripping out our carpet in my room too. The boys just got a new carpet. The little ones have wood as well. The downstairs ( which is only the theater, the tv room, my work room, and the "gym") is all carpeted and its a very light color carpet *yikes*, but I don't let them bring any food or drinks down there at all. Well technically I only allow food and drinks in the dining room and kitchen. Never in the sitting areas or bed rooms or downstairs.
