do you think it make a woman lazy to be on PA if she is in school? or what if she is a hard working mother who is just trying to make ends meets and is receiving PA, is she lazy? Or what if she has some kind of illness that keep her from working and she is on PA do you think she is lazy? what if she has been out looking for work and still is looking for work but has had no luck do you think she is lazy?
what i am saying what situation do you quatifly as lazy if they are on PA. and if you answer No to any or all of these then how do you know that these situation does not apply to them. they may not announce it to you or anyone else but it still doesn't mean the situation does not apply to them.
yea yea i know if they don't want to be judge don't go out anouncing there business to others. a lot of the women on here just reply to post and really don't write the post themselves.
Being lazy on PA, is well not doing anything to better your situation. So that you can in fact support and provide for your family yourself. Essentially living off PA permanently, and not using it as a stepping stone like it should be.

What is the fixation in this group on who is on PA, who should be able to get it, what the rules should be?

i am not really fixated on it i just get tired of hearing people say they are lazy when they don't know the situation.

I didn't mean you specifically. I have been in this group a total of an hour or so, and all I see in here is posts about PA.

you knew to the group? just wait for the abortion post, they are a lot worst the then the PA post. or the vaxing post, or the rear facing post and the sahm vs working mom post are bad too.
honestly, i think this question has been answered a million times throughout every PA post there has ever been on CM. lol. and its common sense really.
no one would be considered lazy for the reasons you listed in your post.
you would be considered lazy if you never try to better yourself, to help fix your situation. by going to school, or actively looking for a job...thats it.
A lot of the women here make blanket statements like that. What those women don't realize is that the ones who are truly taking advantage of the PA system, don't give a damn. And therefore, could care less what some stranger says or thinks. The only ones that they are hurting are the ones who really are trying to better themselves.
There are so many women who just want a better life for their children. And when they see all those comments, it just brings them down. They don't see the reply two pages ahead saying that a persons comment wasn't directed at them. All they see is the first reply where it says "your lazy" or "you shouldn't have children", etc....
Your questions are logical, however, they aren't going to make a bit of difference. Too many see the world as black and white. They just can't get over the fact that sometimes life screws you over. And doing your best to fix it is well and good, as long as you do on their terms.
