Every year my company pays for a "floating" holiday of thier choice... this year is the day after Thanksgiving.

Since I have to work both Thanksgiving and the day after it means that I will make   double and 1/2 for 2 days instead of 1!!!

That is the best news I have had in a while

what is your good news?

My good news is that my baby finally pooped.  NO, I'M SERIOUS!  She's been constipated for 13 days...so this is really good news.

Good news.....none today. Family thanksgiving is cancelled because my dad and grandpa were both admitted into the hospital today. I can't go see them because I can't take the kids with me.

But Monday was the fact that I found out my crib had been recalled, not once, but twice. I was getting ready to sell it, but when I found out I took it to Wal-Mart where my dad bought it from and they gave me $150 store credit for it. In turn....my kids have Christmas presents!! And my 18 month old has 2 boxes of diapers so I don't have to worry if he's got something to cover his tush with. We weren't going to be able to afford ANYTHING.

My good news is last night Kyle (16 months) slept the whole night and he did it without a bottle. I did what another mom suggested and gave him his favorite sippy cup with water in it and he went right to sleep. No crying it out or anything! I'm throwing away all the bottles today. If he did it once, he can do it again. He's about to take a nap right now and I'm trying the technique again.

DH only having to go to work for 3 hours today, he'll be back early! Tomorrow not sure if we are going to my parents, DS is getting sick and has a horrid cough. Found out over the weekend that we finalize our adoption on our youngest on Dec 10th! That's all I wanted for Christmas!
