Over the weekend I did some massive house cleaning. My oldest son (we recently found out that he has autism) picked up the toys in the living room and entry way and only had to be told once to do it. I played it up that I was so proud of him and he did such a good job and that when I finished mopping I would get him a treat. He looked up at me and said "mom, can mopping be my special reward?" I was like "uh sure" and he grinned grabbed the mop and did a great job. Of course he got the original reward too. Later when I got ready to vacuum he asked "since I was a good boy and picked up my toys can I please vacuum too"? He just loves to clean, lol.
LOL, his speech therapist has asked if she could borrow him for a few days.
my daughter loves to be my little helper she's two
she tries to help with dishes, picks up her toys, puts her dishes in the sink when she's done, helps me to do laundry, throws her own diaper away and more
she gets mad if i don't let her
