ok I'll change the title....I'm having an off day

. don't get me wrong.. I love them to bits and couldn't imagine my life without them.  but there are days where i truely frustraited by them

especailly when they are off from school.. it totally disrupts the daily schedule, which inturn annoys me. I try to spend extra time with them on these days but i just get so... overwhelmed i guess.

My oldest is almost 9 and she and i butt heads all the time. she drives me insane most days, but when there isn't school and a break from each other.. it's worse. our relationship work best when we have breaks from each other.

My middle child is usually a delight.. but is super emotional.. so most of the day is spend trying to decypher her blubberings. (seriously i don't even think she's speaking english when she is like this. i am very patient with her, loving but it still takes me forever to figure what she's saying)

the baby.. i have no real issue with him... but I'd like to have 10 minutes where he isn't ON me.

I might be grumpy today. . Kids are back in school tomorrow and the routine will get back yo normal and I know i won't feel this way anymore.

 

But yeah... today I'm feling off

I understand I love my girls to death but sometimes I need a break. Especially from my youngest. She is seriously the sweetest child but it would be nice if she would take a nap anywhere but in my lap. I know that I will miss it when they are grown but right now... I just need to get away for a few hours.

If we are honest we all feel this way from time to time.  Just like we all hate our husbands from time to time and wonder why in the heck we married them, LOL.  We just need a few minutes to ourselves.  Or to see them sleeping and we remember why we wanted them and why we love them.

No bashing from me ... just have patience and a cold glass of wine (when they go to sleep of course, I would have for people to say I told you to drink while your kids are awake .... sigh) and hopefully your day will get better.

I am not going to bash because I feel the same way sometimes.  I think we can love our kids to death and sometimes just not like them much at the same time.

Sometimes I do think "why did I do this? this is not how I imagined it at ALL!"

I think whats important is how you handle it...I don't take it out on them. I smile and get through it knowing I will feel differently in a few hours or the next day.  I am sure I am not their favorite person in the world every minute of every day either (especially as they get older and start butting heads with you) but I know they love me underneath it all.

Hang in there, as they will do something charming any minute and you will be Happy Mom again!
