 Im lost here. So please, answer me this.

WHEN did it become ok for a father to flake on his parental obligations?

Why is it ok for a father to not help out...yet a mother is lazy when she doesn't?

I read how so many women think its acceptable..

And yet, these same women wonder why exhusbands flake on their children! Uh, DUH if they don't have to help while they LIVE there, why would they help when they LEAVE?!?!

Can ANYONE explain it?!?!

It's never been okay. They just have a double standard... Like if a woman has had multiple partners, she's a whore, yet a man can sleep with whomever and he's congratulated. My daughter's father has been there since she was born... He was at the hospital, but refused to go on the birth certificate, and has only seen her a handful of times since then. But, that's only when I have to go pick up mail from his house because it's accidentally sent there. Yet, when people hear about how he doesn't have a job, sleeps on the floor of a friend's house, they feel sorry for him. What they don't realize is that he doesn't TRY to better himself....

It has never been okay, yet people accept it. But, when it happens to them, it's a whole other story...
