Does anyone else find it disgusting that moms are breastfeeding toddlers????  Isn't it weird to still be breastfeeding when a child is old enough to walk, talk, us the potty???  I just get so grossed out everytime I see someone posting things about it on here and I was wondering if I was the only one.

Nope.  I believe in self-weaning.  My kids all weaned themselves right around two.

If it's comfortable for mommy and baby, then I say go for it.

it's a reaction based on the society you were brought up in...

some places it's completely normal and natural, some places it's gross....

it really just depends on your geography...

Sure, it's unorthodox, but it's none of my business, nor is it any of yours.  It's not common in our culture, so it weirds you out, but it wouldn't if it was more common, like it is in some cultures and in past times.  So think outside the box and get over yourself.

I honestly have no opinion about it. If she wants to and the baby wants to, I say go for it.
