formula?? please help

I am at home with no way to get to a store.. i have simalac sensitive the same as enfamils gentlese.. will it screw up my 3 month dd??we can get more when hubby gets home in the morning.. will she be ok or what should I do?

She is normaly on the Enfamil Gentlese

they are similiar but if you have no other options as to getting to a store or have someone go for you than you don't really have a choice. some babies don't react at all to changes some do, so you'll just have to keep an eye on her and make sure she's ok. but if you can get her normal formula by tomorrow morning, than it should only be a few bottles between now and then.

Every baby is different.  Switching formulas can upset the tummy for some and not others, but if its what you have I would use it.  Thats better then not feeding at all:)

my kids never had trouble switching, but they were older and were primarily on breastmilk and already on solids.

My son is lactose intolerant and those were the only 2 formulas he could tolerate.  So probably it won't matter.  Similac is a little more foamy than Enfamil so I used one gas drop to help dissolve some of the bubbles.  Other than that, they are almost identical except Enfamil Gentlease is reduced lactose and Similac Sensitive is lactose free.
