Question: How long did you breast feed your child? If you have more than one child, how long did you bf on average? Or, if you prefer, what was the longest you breastfed?

I saw a post recently about how some people find it gross to breastfeed after a certain age and that got me curious: how long did you breastfeed?
You do not have enough options in your poll. I BF my first for 6 weeks, 2nd for 15 months, 3rd for 13 months, and have been EBF my twins for the last 11 weeks and plan to continue until they are at least a year old if not longer.
only for a short time. my youngest ds was losing weight and did not know that i was not producing enough for a whole feeding. had to stop and go to the bottle

I couldn't vote...my daughter nursed for a full year until she self-weaned.
WOW not many options there so I can't vote
1st 12 weeks
2nd 3 weeks EBF 2 more weeks 1/2 and 1/2 then EFF
3rd EBF and still BFing at 31.5 months

SO now I can't vote because it says on average..there a HUGE different between 5 weeks and almost 3 years...why not ask the longest
