I thought some would find this interesting.....

Wish I would have seen this before my induction.
I had strong contractions, Then fetal distress, then internal monitering (They found out I was almost about to rupture my uterus from having contractions every min. from the pitocen being up too high) , While being prepped for a c section she was already coming, got stuck, They used forceps 2 times with no success, then vaccuum, and two cuts with a 3rd degree tear, and I got Anemia from alot of blood loss.
So ya I pretty much went through that chart. Never again will I have a induction if I really dont need it.
I guess you could say I had a partial induction. When I got to the hospital I was dialated 4.5 but my contractions were not consistent in timing and I was still at 4.5 many hours later. Normally that wouldnt have been a problem but my blood pressure sky rocketed and my options were to wait it out and hope I didnt have a seizure (which would end in a definite C-Sec) or get a slow pitocin drip to get my labor progressing a bit more steadily. I just sat there and cried bc I didnt expect any of this to happen but at the same time I knew I was risking alot if I sat there and did nothing to try and deliver her ASAP. I got the drip started and they turned it off once my contractions evened out and became more progressive. I wish it had been different and I didnt like having to make that choice but I was one of the blessed ones bc everything went fine but still I hated being put in that position. I didnt expect to have to think about that but then it happened and I needed to choose. I feel bad that giving birth has become such a worry to women because of the added stress that doctors sometimes put on us to do things that may not even be necessary. We should be able to trust them and believe that they have our best interests at heart but sometimes they really dont.

I was induced and everything went wonderful! no problems what so ever.
I was induced and ended up having an "emergency" c-section with a lot of complications from all of the drugs they had me on. I don't even remember the first 3 days of my daughter's life, which I hate. I just wanted to say that I love your posts, they are always very informative!!
Thanks ;)
