Just wondering..I do. Our oldest is 11. OUr floors arent dirty but I like to keep them in socks or house shoes. Our floors are marble though and they are cold and I dont want them getting sick. Me and my SO are always wearing shoes too though..

The only time they wear socks is if we are going somewhere. Soon as we get home they take their socks off. I wish they did because we have hardwood and the they are cold. They don't like to wear slippers either.

We are a bare foot family, I'm OCD about my floors... REALLY BAD! So DH and Me are usually barefoot our toddler in socks until she takes them off and puts them back on her self. I left my Roomba run everyday twice sometimes three times a day so my floors are swept and my carpets vacumed. I mop at least once a day if not terribly busy but for sure every other day as a rule!

Me, I hate wearing socks. I will slippers in the kitchen and sometimes in the morning.. til me feet get hot then they come off til they are cold again.. lol.

True. Before I get myself seat belted in the car she is already barefoot. No way I can keep her in socks at home. She will barely keep her clothes on (she's almost 2 and loves to be naked).

Not really. We have hardwood floors in the kitchen and living rooms, but the bedrooms where the kids play most of the time are carpeted. My 1yr old takes his off anyway. He's just learning to walk too, so I feel more comfortable with him either walking barefoot or with his shoes. Socks are slippery on this floor. We don't wear shoes in the house either to keep the carpets and floors cleaner.
