Do you have a recipe for strawberry pie that can use FROZEN strawberries??

One of the kids requested strawberry pie. I have frozen strawberries. Can I use them to make a pie and if so, do you have a recipe??

Vanilla instant pudding, strawberries, tub of cool whip. Put in graham cracker crust and freeze for about 4 hours, overnight is best!

make pudding according to box directions.

I have never seen a strawberry pie recipe that uses strawberries. I think it is probably because they are most popular when fresh strawberries are in season and frozen ones thaw on the mushy side. I have seen other desserts that use frozen strawberries though like strawberry pretzel salad.
