For the past week or so my son(9 months old) wont sleep in his crib. He goes to bed around 8pm and by 9 he is up crying, screaming, standing up but the second me or DH hold him he goes back to sleep. Then we put him back in his crib and he wakes up an hour later but that hour hes sleeping hes constantly moving around like he cant get comfortable... i just dont know what to do.. We are exhausted cause its been for a week every night all night. any advice?

**Hes not napping much during the day either maybe One 2 hour nap if that**

i have a 9 month old also and for some reason he wont sleep in his rib either, but loves to sleep in his play pen.  So i put it up in his room for naps and bedtime, give him his fav. blanket and turn on his leapfrog music player and he sleeps all night.  MAybe he needs something to hold on too? thats what elliott does with his blanket

OK...here it goes....bash away!! I had the same problem with my oldest. The ONLY thing that worked (at it SUCKED) was to let her cry it out. The 1st time he wakes go in pick him up, give him a kiss, say goodnight & put him back down (this should take NO LONGER than a minute). The 2nd time go in & simply lay him back down & say goodnight (DO NOT pick him up). The 3rd time simply lay him back down & say nothing. After that do NOTHING!!!!!! I know...it sounds horrible but he will soon figure it out. It took  me about a week & then she simply didn't wake up anymore & if she did she put herself back to sleep. Good luck!!

I dont know if I can do that, I dont think I have the heart to do that. I feel so bad when he cries and screams. I know its not hurting him or anything but I feel SOOO horrible.
