ok I usually never ask these kind of questions but I'm going to now. I have worn tampons since before I had kids and never had a problem? I had my youngest 19 months ago vaginally and I just got my period back. I tried wearing tampons again and they are so uncomfortable now. I can feel it in there like when you dont insert it correctly but I mean it's in correctly. It's not like I'm new to tampons kwim but for some reason they bug me now. Even the light day tampons bug me. Has this happened to anybody else and if so do you know why? I can't stand wearing pads and now tampons are bothering me too. What the hell??? Sometimes I really hate being a woman lol
I had the same with my youngest, it will go away wih time:)
I think that since this is the first time wearing tampons after giving birth you are going to "feel" different.....I mean after all your vaginal walls have been stretched to their limits....I say give it a few tries and if its still uncomfortable then speak with a Dr.....who knows you might have some underlying issues...Goood Luck !

Since having my son, I'm off and on with tampons. Sometimes they're fine, other times they are really uncomfortable. I have no idea why. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it for a few months now =)

I have a diva cup, where it sits is very comfortable. I cannot feel it while with tampons I am the same way as you, ughh it makes me cringe thinking about it. Here is a link for diva cup....
I have seen these before and just can't bring myself to try them. They seem I don't know icky to me which is strange cause I don't think I have heard one bad thing about them. I just can't get past having a little cup in there that I'll have to pull out and empty, ew

I felt the same way at first but I have been trying little by little to be more "green". I bought one and I was surprised on just how many benefits this product comes with. I actually could not find mine last month so I put a tampon in and it felt horrible. Either way good luck, I can relate with you, sometimes I also hate being a women, lol.
I have had that problem too with both of my kids. I think part of the problem is that it has just been so long since you wore one and it takes a little getting use to....
Have you tried using the tampons meant for teens?
