(Nov. 24) -- An unclaimed lottery ticket worth $1 million will soon expire unless the winner comes forward to claim the prize.
According to CNN,
the ticket was purchased on Aug. 26 at a Mobile gas station on Highway
41 in Racine County, Wis., but so far no one has stepped forward to
cash in the winnings.
Taxpayers in
Wisconsin could stand to gain if the person does not claim the money in
the next three months, as state law stipulates that unclaimed winnings
would go toward property tax relief, CNN reported.
