how do you make your turkey? what's ur recipe for a perfect thanksgiving turkey???

i'm not sure what i'm doing for mine yet.... gotta figure out something yummy though since it's my first time doing all of thanksgiving myself!

I brine mine then do a bourbon butter glaze with fresh herbs under the skin

I take 2 onions and 2 oranges i cut them and stuff them inside the turkey. I rub a stick of butter all over the turkey and then season to taste!

mmm sounds good... have to skip over the bourbon though (i know the alchohol all burns out but my dad can allways still taste it and he's a recovering alcoholic so we try to stay away for him)

i was thinking of brushing on some olive oil with some herbs and spices this year... and just see how it goes lol

I don't :) My aunt cooks it. I made it once, used Wolfgang Pucks recipe...they loved it...it was WAY more work that I  am willing to do EVER again :) I'd do a 'regular' turkey some day...but if she does it, there is no need :) I take care of the stuffing. And I Do it in the crock pot! Oh yeah!
