My daughter just spoke the sweetest words I have ever heard....

My daughter turned 2 in October...and her talking skills are improving drastically. She has been putting sentences together better and better...and its been really cute and fun to watch her language develop.  Every once in a while she will say things that I tell my husband "make my heart smile"....well just 10 seconds ago...my adorable daughter walked over to me...told me to come here...and held my head in her little hands and said "I love you so much, Mommy"...of course she has told me she loves me before...but this time it was just so definate...with my name at the end and everything.  It was meant just for me...it literally brought tears to my eyes. I love being a Mommy... :-)

happy

That is just too cute!  I love moments like that.  I had a really bad weekend & my DD (2.5) knew I was upset so she said "Mommy come snuggle me! You're my best friend! Don't cry, I love you so much."  I couldn't stop crying.  It just made me so happy.  She always says sweet stuff like that, but there was just something special about that.

REST IN PEACE, MY JACK JACK.  6-5-08 to 8-10-08

Awww that is cute, and by the way I just had to say I think you are the first person that I have seen that spells Haylie the same way I spelt my dd name. My dd is 7 and I have never seen anyone else spell the name the same. Cool cool lol

My heart melted when my son (then 16 months) said I love you as I was leaving his room one night. Melted my heart.

Bump because this is sooooo sweet!

Aww...that is sooo cute. When Haylie knows that I am upset she usually crawls onto my lap...stares at me a minute...and then starts wiping my tears...little does she know she is only making me cry harder because my 2 yo knows how to wipe away my tears....lol.

I haven't seen anyone else spell it this way either.  I chose it because originally I liked Haylee..but her middle name is Rae...and I decided that Haylee Rae was too many "e"s so I changed it and I love it...

Yeah, those are the bestest. You just wait, though... the best is yet to come! Prepare yourself, though, for when she "falls in love" with her Daddy... and leaves you pretty much in the dust. That'll last until he tells her "no boys" for the first time for real... then you'll be her confidant again... (He's just so... DUMB, Mom!" LOL

my 6 year old little boy told me just out of the blue, complete with a "squeezy hug" "You're the best Mom in the whole wide universe!" Tell me THAT won't make you get all full of yourself!

lol aww thats sooo cute.  She is starting to go into the "inlove with Daddy" stage...if he is home she won't come to me...then she's all mine again when he goes to bed (he works at 3 am)...my baby does the same thing. lol
