My son is going to his 2nd year of speech therapy. I'm so thankful that he's doing great! He just got awarded the teacher's choice award today! Yaay! I'm super proud of him!
As we were laying in bed, and talking about his award and his class, I asked if all the kids behaved. He said that a boy in his class named xavier doesn't behave and that miss donna (a teacher's aide) spanked him. So I asked him "miss donna spanked xavier?" And he said yes. I asked "are you sure?" Again he said yes. He said something about xavier not wanting to get in line and hiding under the table and miss donna got him and spanked him.
Idk what I should do. Should I let the school know? I mean, I would def want someone to tell me if my kid was getting spanked, but I wouldn't like my kid to get treated differently if this turns out to not be true. I believe my son, he has never lied to me before so I hve no reason to not believe him. He's always telling me this kid xavier is a troublemaker. So maybe he gets on miss donna's nerves n she snapped that day? What should I do?

I wonder if I can do it anominously? This is really shocking to me cus miss donna is an older, sweet lady! Last year when I would drop my son off @school she would cross the street to get julian herself so I wouldn't have to get off the car. And if we were late, there she'd be waiting for julian out infront of the office!
I asked julian where she spanked xavier, and he said he didn't know. He says that when he doesn't want to talk about things anymore. So idk.
