Who wants to play doctor for me? I know I won't have answers unless I see a real doctor but right now we are on vacation in the middle of the mountains and I need some advice real quick..

Okay so my 5 year old has been sick the past 4 days, here are the time-line of events..
- Friday- he went to daycare and everything was great, the provider didn't notice any signs of him being sick nor did he complain. They had a Thanksgiving dinner and went back and played, my son was still fine. Well I pick him up and we go to the store and he starts complaining about midway through that he wants to go home. Well we get home and I fix dinner for him and his younger brother and sister, everyone is at the table and my DS is still fussy and can't figure out what is wrong with him. Well he had his knees up by his stomach and then said well my tummy might be hurting. So I run upstairs and while I was up there, he threw up. It was only one episode for that night.
- Saturday- He wakes up happy and hungry and honestly didn't even show any sign of being sick. He was playing and running around, until I took his temperature (ear) and he was like 100.0 so he ended up just laying down and watching t.v. and throughout the day he randomly complained of his stomach aching. Still not sure, well we postponed our trip until Sunday just to monitor him for the rest of the day.And honestly for the most part he was doing good one minute and then he would crash and have a fever and he complained of his body aching (he only mentioned it once) and then he said his head hurt. So I tried having him relax on the couch and watch a movie, this seemed to work and he was fine the rest of the night. I took his temperature before bed and it was still 100.0
- Sunday- We took his temp in the morning and he was like 99.3 so we decided to do our trip. We loaded everyone up and took a 3 1/2 hour drive to the resort. He seemed fine this whole time, except when we FINALLY got here, he complained of his neck hurting and he just wanted to lay down. So we get inside and get unpacked and everything done, and DS was laying on the couch UNDER a blanket and laying right near a fireplace. But he felt warm to me so I took his temperature again and it was 101.8, now mind you this is the highest I have seen it and so far he hasn't gotten that high again! Well gave him some meds and he barely touched his dinner and snack so by that time it was bedtime so we have him lay on an air mattress (so he didn't spread germs to his brother) and we put his throw up bucket right next to him.
- Monday- Well during the night (sunday night) he threw up again but this time it wasn't a lot and was really watered down. I honestly wasn't shocked because he hasn't really eaten a lot..well he explained it happened in the middle of the night but in the morning his tummy hurt again..So we get him up and he seems fine and was actually happy up and playing...he didn't seem sick. But then he started getting really bad congestion. You could just hear it when he talked..so I assumed maybe last night's vomit episode was just from postnasal drip and mucus getting to his stomach. He was fine all day that day and played just as he did before....
- Tuesday- Well he is really congested now and has had 100 degree fevers on and off but he is still playing normal and somewhat still not eating as much as I'd like him to. But he seemed like himself just really congested!
Okay that is the time-line, sorry so scrambled but I'm super sleepy and I wanted to get this out there before I went to bed! So I was just curious to see what is wrong with him?
His brother and sister both have horrible congestion (runny noses, sneezing and a horrible cough) and non of them have a fever but my husband started having a headache that lasted all day long and then he had a fever of 101.9 and then had acid reflux kind of feeling in his stomach.
I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE! I have had so many people say oh it must be the swine flu....???
Please Please bump if you don't know!
Edit- Right as I was done writing this, I heard him coughing and now he has this "croup" sounding cough. I tried taking him into the bathroom and turning on the shower on hot water so it would steam up and have him breathe in there and what not, he has no fever but he just has a horrible cough and says his chest hurts when he coughs.
From what I heard the swine flu knocks you on your bum. I am thinking a stomach virus? But I would def call the pedi. Just lots of fluids and motrin to keep the fever down. If the motrin doesn't work take him in ASAP. Sorry that's all I have for you, wish I could help more!
My son was the same way a couple of weeks ago. We took him to the doctor and had him flu tested. It was negative. They said he had a stomach virus. He was better in a couple of days except he still has the runny nose. Hope yours is better soon!
My son had a fever and vomiting, but was normally active in the day, but as the night came on, he acted really sick, had a fever of 103 and said his bones ached(why we thought it was flu). He tried to eat and had an appetite, but threw it up. No diareah at all. He also had a cough(all night and day and runny, stuffy nose). It lasted for about 5 days
my daughter just got over something very similiar to what ur describing her doc said it was just a stomach virus. but i would still talk to ped when you can just to be sure
