Anybody else? I know this sounds crazy, but this is one of the reasons I love the holidays. Our house smells sooooo good! I love being able to make my family happy this way. Especially how everyone will wake up to these smells, and every time anyone walks through the kitchen I get complimented (yes in this way I am an attention whore) and they ask for a taste on the sly lol.

And no, I don't drink coffee lol

Ha Ha, thanks. I figured someone would accuse me of being on some sort of caffeine. I'm just doing all of my prep work right now: baking cornbread for dressing, chopping onions and nuts, and this year I'm getting smart and doing my pie dough now and keeping it in the fridge till 2moro morning. Red velvet is delicious!

I totally agree!

I don't get to make turkey day dinner, and all I'm taking is a couple of pecan pies. But I had that itch yesterday to bake, so I made the pie crust, then went ahead and made some sugar cookies. Then the cookies looked sad, so I figured out how to make some cool icing for them. Then my husband came home, and that's the end of the sugar cookies lol. I've got some tangerines that I picked-maybe today I'll make that tangerine angel food cake I found the recipe for....

But man, one year I want to do the whole dinner!

I hear you Momma, but you want to talk about work! My MIL is bringing fruit salad, but other than that it's all me. I love it though. It will be quit a spread and I'm extra excited cuz this year I splurged for some pretty serving platters so... yea, I'll be taking pictures of this table before we pray lol
