DO NOT REPLY TO THE POST JUST VOTE IF YOU REPLY THEN WHATEVER BASHING OCCURS IS DESERVED AND NOT MY FAULT!!!!!!!

I would also like to add my reply: My kids are 2 1/2, 2 1/2 & 4 months. I have never done it except if another adult is in the car with them.

EDIT: why are a few people bashing me? i never did this as a 'dig' as one person accused. i was just curious my mom always left us in the car... then again she always left us home alone too when we were very young. That day i made the post i was getting gas and noticed a cpl of kids that were maybe 4 or 5 in their car while there mother was in the store. no i didn't say anything but i wondered how many people actually did it jeez. i'm sorry for having a curious personality i like to learn about people and their behavior

No.  Because I pay with my debit card right there.  So they're in the car, but I'm beside them.

When Tiffany was that little, no way. She is 13 now and yes I leave her with the two little ones so I can run in and pay. I usually just pay with my card at the pump though

I never have and never will, but as mothers we make 1000 decisions a day regarding the welfare of our children. If a mothers looks at a situation and deems it appropriate to leave the child in the car while she pays that was her decision to make. I don't think any true mother ever has this thought: "I know it is the wrong thing to do but I'm gonna do it anyway."

I have.....but my dad's neighbor was there and he stood outside my car watching my kids.

I even left them while I went into the bank!!! (Ok, so my dad was sitting in his car in the spot beside mine.....lol).

No, I never leave them alone in the car while I go in ANYWHERE. Just to take a cart to the return that is two steps away I roll the windows down just a little and lock the doors....because there is NO WAY I can put stuff in the car with 2 toddlers when I'm by myself and them be safe unless I buckle them in their seats.
