at this point, it doesnt matter. it might as well be 3 or 4 or 10 trillion!! bc when numbers get that big, its like they arent even real anymore, and we can just buy and spend whatever we want, its not like we are ever going to pay it back!!! Blame, blame, blame. As the OP said, neither of the TWO previous presidents spent this much money...that includes CLINTON who I'm sure you thought was awesome too.
PLEASE research the places this money has gone and tell me how important some of this crap is. Right now, people are being bribed with money for special interest groups in order to get them to sign for the healthcare bill. Yes, this crap ALWAYS goes on in politics. but let me ask you, when has SPENDiNG money ever cleaned up ANY mess? When your budget is in the negatives in your house, do you decide to spend a ton of money to fix it? Does that work?

That's not true. Our money in this country is limited and based on the value of the gold in the federal reserve. its not just paper that they can decide to make more when they want. Why do you think we HAVE to pay taxes?
He spent a lot of it bailing out banks, businesses, and the auto industry. If he hadn't then thousands of jobs would have been lost. I don't exactly agree with it but it had to be done. It had do be done because our country relies on "free market" and Capitalism. No one wanted regulations on Wallstreet and here we go. We the American People suffer. I can't believe people have the nerve to complain about those on PA (I know this post isn't about that) and blame President Obama when it comes to how much he has spent bailing these jackasses out! If you really want to get pissed at someone direct your anger where it is deserved, the people who couldn't handle their business.
