I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE H.G. OF KID TIMERS.... (I THINK!)
Does your LO have trouble changing Tasks? Oh, that has been one of our BIGGEST issues forever! We've tried regular timers... and giving audible cues... but that doesn't usually work for our boys. What does work for them, HOWEVER, are VISUAL CUES! They can see what to expect... I have never seen a timer like this, but I'm gonna order one - and give MYSELF a Christmas Present!
I thought I would share, for anyone out there who might want to give it a try... how long homework time is, play time, bath/shower time/ video time/ etc....
Anyone have one? Do you like it? Thoughts?

Teachers sometimes use those in there classroom. You can find them at most education stores. They are great because it keeps the children engaged.

Lots of teachers use these with kids on the spectrum, too. It helps them to SEE how long it's going to be until it's time for ____.
