What stupid things have you done as a parent?

I mean lil stupid things not the big ones.   Dh and I talk about the stupid things we've done over the years.   The Stupidest I ever did was I was living in an apt and we had a garbage chute just outside my door.  I had gone out the door threw a bag down the chute and went back in.  What I didnt notice was my then 3 year old followed me out.  When I went back in I had actually gone to check on her and I couldnt find her.  Then I started hearing her but was frantic. when I opened the apt door she was sitting there playing.  I of course felt  horrible. 

My husband was looking at an apt.  He had our son with him who was about 15 months old. He had put our son in his carriage unstrapped and was talking with the woman showing him the apt.  My son  stood up and and fell out head first.  He was fine

Now my sil has us both beat.  She was in the grocery store with her infant DD.  Kinda brand new. She had paid for her Groceries and proceeded to leave the store.  She had forgotten her DD at the chekout counter.  She got all the way out the the parking lot before realizing what she forgot.
