Science vs Religion

My husband and i was having a discussion last night about evolution. I just wondering how many of you think we were created through evolution; how many of you think were were created by god?

i am not a big believe in evolution, my husband is. i am not a bible thumper or anything but i do believe in god and i think that is how were created. i don't read to much into science and stuff like that.

I do have a question for those of you who believe in evolution. You believe that were all were started by a tiny little organism, am I correct? This is what i wonder if that theory is true, how was the tiny organism created? doesn't everything have a start? My husband couldn't give me an answer to this question.

Please do not turn this into a bitch fest. i do not want any bible thumper coming into this post preaching or anything. i want for all of us ladies to be able to have an adult debate without the bashing. We all need to remember that everyone has different opinion and we all need to repect that. If this post get out of hand i will delete it.

ahh the big where did it all begin post :) yeah i believe in evolution and no i can not answer that question...then again no one can answer the "where did God come from " question either...that is where the puzzle stops and we don't know. As for evolution...well it wasnt that long ago we all thought that the earth was flat and the center of the universe....we don't know everything and i wouldn't be surprised if one day we figured out how the beginning could have happened we just aren't there yet.

That's the kind of question that doesn't have an answer yet.  I believe in evolution and think that's how man was created.  I think one day science will have the answers.

I guess I kinda believe in both. I believe in a God and  Evolution.   I don't beleive the bible as fact or at least not all the facts.

I believe we were created by God, but evolve to adapt to our surroundings.

Honestly, I think it was a little bit of science, a little bit of magic. lol I believe a little differently than do most... but I'm honestly not concerned enough about the beginning of the world as we know it enough to think about it. My concern is how we live today... no one will ever know for sure about the beginning or the afterlife. Why bother fighting about it?

I believe in evolution, and not a believer in god. For me personally, we are all here, dont care how we got here, just hope we dont screw it up too badly before we get wiped out

The belief in Islam, is God created Adam and Eve from dirt. So, from dirt we came and after death we go back to Earth (dirt). What is said is God picked up a handful of dirt and blew into it and appeared Adam. He did the same to Eve.....and the rest of humanity came from them. A proof that we didnt evolve and was created by God's will was the birth of Jesus through the Virgin Birth from Maryam (Mary).
