is it me or are private parts really based on places that leak fluid ?
why else would women's nipples be private but men's nipples aren't ?

That's a good point. I never really thought about it before, but it makes sense.
I wonder about the mouth the, it doesn't leak fluid, but it does create it. Is that why kissing (mouth to mouth) is seen as something intimate, when a kiss to the forehead or cheek is not?
I am a breastfeeding, vaccinating, co-sleeping, disposable diapering, baby wearing, non-circumsizing, against CIO, semi attachment parenting, pro spanking, almost self-weaning, pro-gun, slightly green, messy tattooed stay at home mom artist; who loves her daughter more than anything.
A loving wife since 08/3/06, a Mom to Inara since 9/21/08, and trying for baby number two!
Hmmm. Things that make you ponder.
That really does make sense too.

lol fyi, sometimes mens nipples CAN leak fluid... creepy as it is, it is physically possible for some men to lactate. Does that mean, those mens nipples are private? Just curious
good point though
My son's nose is leaking fluid.. so is his mouth (teething).
Interesting point though..I wonder what criteria makes our "private parts" private....
I wish my eyes were private so I could wear patches and look like a pirate.....

Our family is little and broken, but still good.
From what I have read or come across, is that super long ago (caveman), we would chew our food, then spit it into the baby's mouth, like a mother bird. After that wasn't necessary, it just became a sign of affection (mom kissing babies) and from there it went.
I don't know how true it is, but it makes sense.
