to become pregnant? i was watching i didn't know i was pregnant and it was about a 57 year old lady who had invetro to become pregnant. i was talking to a friend of mine and she said that is to old and i started wondering how many women think it is to old? i personally don't think it is to old as long as the lady takes care of herself while pregnant and receives all the prenatal care she needs to make sure the baby come out healthy and normal. i know it is extremely high risk but still. if she wants a baby then i don't anything wrong with it.
so what do you ladies think? how old is to old to become pregnant?
When the risks outweigh the benifits. I think some of these older women who want to have children should consider adoption. There are way too many kids desperate to be loved I think more people should consider that road before invetro. Just my opinion though....
I think it is too old. For one, as you stated, the risks in volved to the babies...but two I feel it is VERY selfish of her. She is 57, by the time those children are 10 she will be 67 and 77 by 20. Then she will die, if she doesn't die sooner, and those children will be without a parent or a grandmother to spoil their children.
Who is anyone to judge. If she is heathy and can handle it why not?? I'm sure she will be a very loving, kind and patient mother.

One the risks..
Two no kid wants to be 15 with a 60 year old parent...
40ish. The woman who adopted my baby was 42 or 43 I believe, and she's more active/fit than I have ever been ... and I'm 24.
24 year old, God loving, non-vaxing, tutu making WAH momma to Jenelle, Gracelynn, and Sapphire. Girlfriend to Rachel (not wife, because apparently some people are AGAINST two loving, consenting adults marrying).
