This year my daughter and I have our own place and since I left all of my Christmas decorations the house my XH and I shared, I'm starting over.  No big deal, I love Christmas and probably would have gotten rid of everything to start over at some point anyway.  So I've had my heart set on a purple and silver based tree but just found this super cute candle holder that has reindeer on it with red noses that would look really good on my living room table.  Now I have already gotten the silver ribbon but am wondering if y'all think it would work colorwise if I still went with purple bulbs on my tree or could you offer an alternative color that would go well with silver (other than red), that would work well with candle holder?  My living room is somewhat old hollywood.  I have an ice blue couch and dark wood tables.  Thanks for your help!  I'm terrible with colors :D.

Could just do silver and gold?

I'm not big into mixing metals.  So I like to do a metal and a color.  OOOO maybe I could do fake poinsettas now, would that look good with silver?  I know they are red but I did see a tree with those on it and it was very pretty.
