Where YOU breastfed or formula fed? How do you think your mother's choice affected your development/intelligence level?

Also do you think your mothers fought with other mothers about how to feed a baby or do you think they were smart enough to realize it doesn't matter that much as long as the baby is getting fed?

well im 23 i was formula fed i dont think they really "cared" so much in the 80's. My brother and i both were, he is in advance placement classes and i was the athlete so i dont feel it hampered us at all!

I was Formula feed and turned out fine.. I also breastfeed both my children for over a year..

Yes I do know its most important they are being fed and I also know they can turn out fine if formula feed... I still preferred to breastfeed... I felt it was better for the child( natural vs man made) gave us great bonding time and felt most natural to me!

What others choose is great for them but I will stand, even though I was formula feed that breastfeeding is still the best choice.. Not the only but best!

I was combination fed as an infant but that's not an option so I didn't vote.

My mom gave me PET's watered down. The doctor also gave her liquid vitamins to give me.

ETA: I feel that I am of average intelligence. The last IQ test I took said I was slightly above average but even those vary on several factors. I play several musical instruments and absolutely love the arts. I really don't think what my mother gave me as an infant affected any of this. I personally believe it is more environmental and genetic.
