What do you mean by "negative"? I've always been a realist, even since a young child.. if that's what you're referring to?

24 year old, God loving, non-vaxing, tutu making WAH momma to Jenelle, Gracelynn, and Sapphire. Girlfriend to Rachel (not wife, because apparently some people are AGAINST two loving, consenting adults marrying).

By negative I mean in your words, your actions, etc..Some people who are realists take it to the extreme of being negative in their words and actions. Ex: the cup is half empty, I will never be able to do that, I am ugly, etc....

Oh, then that's not me. I'm more of an optimist than anything, but I don't live in a happy little bubble. I just don't sugarcoat things. My mom said I've always been this way.

I was always a sarcastic but happy kid. Then some stuff happened that made me grow up a little too quick and I quickly became bitter and negative. It's been about 3 years (when I had my son) that I realized that I had a piss poor attitude and needed a change. So I have been actively working on it. Some days are better than others but I want to end the pattern here rather than passing my attitude on to my kids.

I have my negative moments but I'm usually a happy soul :)

I am not a negative person. Not even as a child.

I consider myself a optimistic realist.

Life has a way of tainting even the best of people at times. Im cynical now bc Ive just seen so much that I wish I hadnt and lived through things that taught me but still caused me to always look for the worst in everyone. The sooner I spot it the sooner I can get away from it. Sad way to live huh? I wish it was different but its not. I go out of my way to avoid building lasting friendships and I hate when people I dont know try to talk to me bc it sends up red flags and I instantly wonder what they want or what they are up to.

Good for you and I am sorry you had to go thru that. I too had some things happen, really bad, and since having my children I am trying extremely hard to use positive words, actions, show kindness to strangers, give to strangers, etc...Be a good role model to my children and show them that ANYTHING is possible if you work hard at it and all that mushy stuff. LOL
