Any NURSES in here?!?! Serious medical question...

Just have a question. I've been having panic attacks so my doc sent me for bloodwork just to make sure everything is ok. My White Blood Cells is in the normal range. It was 5.0. Normal is 3.5 - 12.5. But four years ago it was 9.4, and two year ago it was 9.0. Should I be worried that its down, even though its in its normal range???

Anyone know??

as long as your wbc count is within normal limits, there is nothing to worry about.  if it was elevated, that would be a sign of infection.

Thanks everyone. Obviously I am freaking out b/c I suffer from a Panic Disorder, lol....I called the advice nurse and she said everything looks perfect and not to worry about it going down from a couple year ago...I am still worried though.
