My sister is a chef, and yet, every year I am the one who hosts Thanksgiving. I really don't mind. I love to cook. I love to show off my kick ass skills in the kitchen. BUT, she does help when she comes and my mom loves not having to do it. Although, my mother has never prepared the turkey. I did it after my brother graduated and left for college. Mom never could reconcile having to stick her hand up a turkey's butt!
