My best friends Grandpa died an hour ago. I just got a phone call from her. we have been close friends since we were 5 he is my grandpa to ! Grandma said he laid down to take a nap because he wasnt feeling good and when his snoring had stopped for about 15 min she went in to check on him ( he snores ALOT) and he wouldnt wake up so she checked his pulse and there wasnt one. He had a bad heart about 3 years ago he had a quad bypass and died onthe table. This man has always been a fighter ! He drove himself to the hospital while having a heart attack during that huge earthquake california had. He was a semi driver.

Sorry to hear this, its tough losing someone you love, especially on a holiday. My husband mother died on halloween and his father died on easter. My mother died on groundhogs day although that isn't much of a holiday.

Oh darl'in..I'm sorry for your loss...Sounded like a tough cookie..It sounds also that it was quick and peaceful...The memories of times before will give his loved ones' smiles for always..Prayers and Hugs, to you, and to all he touched with his life.

Im so sorry, its always terrible to lose a loved one but its always a extra heart break durning the holiday seasons.
