A P.A question...

I see alot of PA posts and replies that say people on PA are just lazy. That people on it need to get out there and work more instead of makink deacent hardworking taxpayers pay for someone elses food

      I work full time

Am a single mom with 2 kids

       I pay taxes

These are my questions...

If taxpayers pay for PA (I know they do) am i not paying to be on PA?

Should I get 3 jobs to make ends meat and never see my kids?

With those 3 jobs become no longer elegible for things such as medical? So if my dd or ds needs MAJOR medical services I just need to suck it up and somehow get a 4th job.

Please humor me in this sitution should PA be used? Or should I sacrifice a relationship of any kind with my kids to provide for them?

.people feel the same with disability. The truth is that only .5% off our taxes pay for pa. I really do not get why when we pay more into school tax and yet have crappy education people complain about that.

You are doing what you can. The main issue with the public assistance argument should not be "lazy people" but a system of government that does not work. People just get emotional instead of logical when it comes to these kinds of topics and instead of focusing on REAL reasons, end up screaming on and on about something they know nothing or little about. Or they refuse to see the government for what it is: shit.

I misread the post and thought it was "APA question" as in the citation style...here I was all ready to help, lol!

If you are on PA you have no Federal Tax liability....and you actually get MORE back at tax time then you ever paid.

As far as the rest...if you think you are right then why do you feel the need to come here and tell your "story"? I don't understand that?

Not that this is not getting repetitive but here goes.  As a single mom with two kids you more than likely get way more money back in your tax refund than you pay in, so technically you're not paying for them.  As for the three jobs, my mom did it for years it sucks but it beat waiting for a handout in her eyes.  If you're comfortable with your position and stance then I don't know why you would even ask for Internet "approval".

Um no you do not. I do not get back any more taxes then I would if I were not on pa and I work part time. Even when I had barley any income I recieved very little back.
