Do you know what you should do in this situation?

Just saw on the news a toyota recall, apparently the gas pedal in one of their cars can get caught on the floor mat. They played a 911 call of a man in his car, with his family talking to 911 saying hisgas pedal was stuck down and they were approaching an intersection and can't slow down.

You can hear them scream and crash.

 

Okay, this man has NO BUSINESS DRIVING A DAMN CAR

I hope you ladies who drive all know what to do in a similiar situation

I was thinking about that, too, but you never know how you will react in a situation like that.  I hope they can get all of these cars fixed before it happens again.

#1 not everyone knows this, I for one did not and thanks for the useful info. #2 sometimes when you are in a scary situation you panic and forget even the simplest most obvious thing! Not everyone is cool under pressure.
