I have 3 homemade (out of can is that homemade?)pumpkin pies baked yesterday. Bought my sons 2 apple pies yesterday. Got 1 of 2 pans of Rice Krisps done. Have 2 dozen peanut butter cookies in the oven. Have sweat potatoes cut up and water in the frig. Still have to cut up normal potatoes and have to dress our turkey before bed. An all this for just the 4 of us.
Tomorrow when I get up I'll get the turkey in the oven around 8am then prep the green cas. Make 2 dozen devil eggs. Make carrot platter.
I feel like I am going to run out of time DH wants to eat by 3pm. I am sooo stressing.
This is our 2nd Thanksgiving meal ever though we have been together for over 8 years. When we were stationed in Hawaii we went camping on Thanksgiving. Before that we only lived 2 hours from his sister so she did all the cooking wouldn't allow me to cook sense she didn't know me well enough LOL.

I have all the food ready to be cooked but everything will be cooked tommorrow.
I added a cheesecake to the mix, but ill do that first thing and it will be cool and set by dessert time
I've got my stuff prepped. I'm running my first 5k in the morning. Running to Kmart to do some shopping. Then I need to do the deviled eggs up (they are peeled and ready to go) and bake my cheesy potatoe casserole thing....we go to dinner at 5. Late I know, but we have to do it after my kids get up from their naps! Not enough time to do it at lunch. Maybe next year.
I have my eggs boiled but not peeled I should do that tonight shouldn't I LOL I have no clue why DH wants to eat by 3 we never eat dinner before 5pm ugggg

Yup. I made my pumpkin dinner rolls last friday and froze them, made my pumpkin orange cheesecake, cranberry cheesecake and sounthern comfort sweet potatoes and boiled the potatoes for the mashed today and the turkey is brining now. I am SET!
My Thanksgiving is almost entirely make ahead. Pretty much everything will be done before the turkey even goes in the roaster tomorrow morning.
i actuall have 2 pies in the oven and its just the four of us too ! i would love for more people to be here , but they are with family . my mom lives about 15 min away , but thats another story . lol...anyways its just my dh and the kids. im makeing a 8lb turkey breast, 6 lb ham from Honey Baked. Sooo good cant wait to sink my teeth into that . mash potatoes with gravy ,salad, stuffing and corn maybe. i would love to make devil eggs and green beAN casserole but dh and kids wouldnt eat it !
Next year I think I will cook a head of time though a little curve ball was thrown our way I am not sure what we'll be doing next Thanksgiving.

DH never had green bean cas till I made it last year. Mmmmmm DH and my DD are the only ones who will eat the devil eggs though I may try and eat one to see how my tummy does.
