We won't show your age or birthday to anyone unless you want us to!

So it's final....

After 2 months of thinking about things, trying to understand the affairs, and taking a good look at our marriage and it's potential, we talked tonight. Final decision is to file for divorce in Jan after the holidays and our youngest's 2nd birthday.

I feel relieved but sad. I'm upset at the loss of what we had, the good times, the loss of the man I married, and for failing at my marriage. But I feel relieved that it's ending on as good of terms as possible, happy that I had him in my life, and that I won't have the stress of always being insecure about what he's doing and not trusting him.

I'm sorry you have to go through this, but better now than 10 miserable years down the road:)

Sorry to hear about this. :(

I wish you and your family easy days ahead. And you made a very good point about not having to worry.

I'm so sorry.  It sounds like the best thing to do.  I know it is hard, but making the decision now instead of later when things are worse for everyone was a better thought.  Your son will adjust well, he's still little, mine were older and it seemed harder.
