Babies R Us portrait studios vs walmart studios
We really don't have the money to spend on professional photography, but I kind of want to get DD's first birthday and Christmas photo's taken. Who has had their pictures taken at either of these places? How was it, pricing, photo quality, experience, etc? If you have the shots can I see them. Does babies r us have a birthday discount? I can't seem to find on the website, I was told most places do. I went looking at studios around us and the sitting fee starts at $200!!!!!!
This is the fall pic I got done of DD and DS in October. I did their $8 special where you get 30 pictures of the same pose for $8. I think they turned out great! And the photographer was awesome since my kids were unruley and I had to leave to buy mini M&Ms for bribery.

for special occasions i use babies r us to get just pics done walmart.. walmart has good quality but i love kiddiekandids over anywhere including professional... i wish i had the pics on this computer to post but i dont.
oh very cute! There is a photographer by me that does amazing photo's but I don't have $1000 to spend lol So all it was, was $8 or did you have to spend more on the sitting fee?

I havent been to babies r us. but look and see if you have a portrait innovations near you. they are AMAZING. they work so well with kids. my ODD is crazy when it comes to pictures and they worked SO good with her. walmart just sucks. i will never go to them again, and they have sitting fees now. WTF is that!?

they're expensive, tho.....we went there for dd's 6 months (the only ones we've had done, i am so bad!) we dropped like $300+ for a few different poses. but, if u only get one or 2 poses, it may not be as bad....i just couldnt believe how much we paid!

I have never had pics done at babies r us, but I have had them done at Walmart. I usually get the $99 packet, which i think is 14 sheets anyway u want them (examples: 8x10, 2 5x7's, sheet of wallets, just whatever will fit on a sheet) and of the 14, 7 of them can be enhanced photos. ( name on the pics, vignettes, etc.) Anyway here are a few of the last ones i had done at walmart.
