i'm really, really tired, so my brain isn't fully functioning right now.  i have to make most of the food for thanksgiving tonight (its 8:30 here) because we're going to a friend's house tomorrow. i see i have some extra ingredients, and i was thinking it would be nice to make some food and bring it to the marines who are going to be all alone tomorrow.  but my head is saying that i should just make what i need to and then go to bed.

what do you think? its worth it, right?

Absolutely, from one jarhead wife to another I think it is a great idea, what ingredients do you have? Just curious?

i have some extra yams, veggies, and stuff to make stuffing.  i have a friend who thinks shes going to have extra turkey...so all together that would make a meal

My DH and I used to always invite some of the guys over that we knew had no one to spend the holidays with. They appreciated it so much! Just knowing that someone is thinking about them can brighten there day!

Awesome idea. Definitely worth it. You may be tired, but when you think back you'll remember the guys you fed, not the lack of sleep.

yes i think so. if i could i would. that is very thoughtful of you.i have a suggestion: if you are tired have some friends come over to help they could make their fav recipes and it would be fun and great time to spend time together. that is if that arent already busy.
