He hates to have his diaper changed.. is this normal?
The past few weeks my 2 year old will completely flip out if you tell him its time to change his diaper. He hates it! Is this something that I should be concerned about? His daycare provider brought it to my attention today. She said he'll scream, kick, and cry for me. I dont want her to think something is going on. I'm the only person outside his daycare that changes him. (God knows Daddy wont change a diaper, lol) Thanks for your input.

Every time my 17 month old DS see me grab a diaper he runs fights me it takes a good 5 mins to get him change.
My nephew just started potty training and he is 3 1/2. He has done that since about a year and still does. He will only poo in a diaper and then won't let you change him.
That was my story every time too! Then I set up a 6'x5' tent in the spare bedroom and change diapers in there... she actually likes it! Weird huh?

My son has fought every...single...diaper change since he was born. It's made me dread changing him.

So I need to buy a tent? haha.

My son did this when he was younger. The only thing that worked was putting one of those annoying animals that dance and sing (sold for the holidays typically) where he could watch it while I changed him. It was the only time he was allowed to have it on so it entertained him.
But yeah, the little girl I watch does fights it too. She's 2 and always screams about her non-existant rash.

my son started getting a bit hard to change and i would give him anthing that would distract him for a minute (toy, phone, clean baby wipe) and that helped. He just turned 2 and although he doesnt throw a huge fit he doesnt like to just lie there for a minute. Also i switched to pampers wipes they are the softest i have found, maybe he is just really sensitive. I hoep that helps, good luck
