I don't know.. I would look for salons with younger women working in them. I go to a salon with older women that do it, and they won't do anything risky, lol.

My living room.  :)

Where do you live?  There might be an alternative salon near you.  They usually have better stuff.

I dunno. but i have only seen a pink hairdo look good one time in my life lol. It was this girl that had blonde hair. really straight, really shiny, and when she moved her head and her hair swayed you could just barely see the pink peeking out from underneath, the whole bottom layer was hot pink.  I just thought it was so awesome!

Definately find a salon with someone who likes to do wild colors and such or it wont come out right. Ask them to get the hair color by Pravana. They have a pink and a magenta (I go with the magenta because my hair hates to hold color so it fades to pink, and I get to enjoy both colors). Definately amazing stuff. Its pretty close to permanent and stays in my hair longer than any permanent or semi permanent color. Hope this is helpful :)

i'd try to find a salon with girls who have hair that looks similar to how you want yours.  around here, a lot of places will specify that they're "alternative" salons, and they do those kind of jobs more frequently because of their clientele.  personally, i'd rather pay a little more to have it done right than risk having it come out horrible.

Thanks all!
I live near about an hour and a half away from Seattle... I wish I knew someone who could do my hair. My sister always did it but she is in TX! :(

I was so hoping you lived near me and you do! Go to "Rudy's Barber Shop" there are a few in Seattle and one is Bellevue they are AMAZING (I used to work there) They are a punk rock kinda shop.

Or you can also try "The Shop" In Kirkland or Covington I worked there as well and are AMAZING ask for Rochelle, tell her Ali sent you. She does great work. They are also a rock and roll kind of place. I think you will be very happy with your end product at either! Post pics when you get it done.

These places are really the best of the best I promise!

I am not sure when I did hair I cut only. I think it varies on how much color they have to use and the colors and your hair type/texture. You can call them though and they can give you a rough estimate. You can also go in for a consultation before you get it done if you want to do it that way. I don't know many of the stylist at Rudy's anymore but I am sure they are great still. I do know they charge a little bit more than The Shop.

Here are the #'s so you will have them

The Shop

Kirkland-  425.739.9881

Juanita- 425.814.9881

Enumclaw- 360.802.9881

Covington- 253.638.9881

Rudy's

Capitol Hill- 206.329.3008

Fremont- 206.547.0818

University- 206.527.5267

Phinney Ridge- 206.782.9861

Belltown- 206.488.8900

Ballard- 206.783.8500

Bellevue- 425.467.8500

All these should be correct #'s still but if not you can google them. I hope this helped.
