I just finished. We are going to a football game tomorrow so everything is finished and ready to go.
Potato salad, Turkey sandwiches, and pink stuff!

My pies are finished, and in the fridge! The bird is in the frige waiting to go in the oven in about 6 hours, and the yams are waiting to be peeled. For the most part we're doing way better than we thought lol. My husband volunteered to do dinner this year, yet Im the one doing most of it lol. Ah well! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I already cooked my pork roast as my wall oven is to small to cook the turkey and anything else at the same time...so I will heat it when I cook the rolls while the turkey is resting... Eggs are cooked and peeled...potatos are peeled...and all the deserts are bought so I don't have to worry about them..lol..(I am a terrible cook)

Drillers Wife, Toughest Job In The Oil Field.
I've been cooking all week. There are a couple dishes I need to cook just before serving but everything else I'm just heating up tomorrow afternoon. With a toddler and newborn, it's the only way I can imagine serving a homemade Thanksgiving.

About to start
just wondering why everyone starts so late at night? Do you all just heat everything up for tomorrow?
Well im cooking for my family and for homeless. the turkey im cooking now is for the homeless so once its done im gonna slice it up for tomarrow. the collard greens taste better once you cook them and let the flavors get happy together overnight those i can heat up in the microwave tomarrow. Mashed taters and stuffing and green beans will do tomarrow when the other turkey is cooking.
