My DH has his check direct deposited into our bank account, he was supposed to get paid today because of the holiday. He brought home a check stub today with today's date on it. So the money should be in our account, but it isn't. I am thinking that they are not going to put it in until Friday. But why should he have to suffer because he has direct deposit, people who get a paper check got paid today but because he has direct deposit he didn't. Is there anything I can do about this?? I have had 2 things go through today that pulled money out of my savings to cover these bills. That was all my Christmas money and I was going to use it to go to the black Friday sales on Friday morning, now I won't have money to go shopping, without going negative in my account. I guess what I want to know is, if his paycheck stub says today's date on it and he didn't get his money yet can I get his work in trouble for it? Can't they get in trouble for saying that they paid him when they didn't? It's not that important, I'm just pissed that I made all these plans and it looks as though they won't happen now.
Maybe try checking it in a few hours, my husband usually gets paid on Wednesdays, but his check wont show up until that night, which ends up being sometime in the AM on Thursdays around 3am.

This, especially around holidays anything we have direct deposit usually doesn't show up til around 3, sometimes even like 7 a.m.
Usually the money posts by midnight that day...If it's not there by tomorrow then I would call customer service at the 800 number of your bank.. I'm sorry darl'in what a pain in the ass for you to have to deal with..
