I hate that they don't make children's cold medicine for infants/toddlers any more. My poor baby is miserable w/a congested, super runny nose, coughing like crazy, and tossing and turning. He's 1 and he doesn't understand and mommy can't make him feel better. The pediatricians say "it's a virus, it will run it's course." Well he's been sick at least a week every damn month. I feel bad for him.

I know how you feel, they started pulling them off the shelves not too long after I had my now two and a half year old.

It annoyed the heck outa me. Supposedly people were ODing there babies cause they were idiots and gave them more then the box said to give them.

Yeah that kinda ticks me off too. When they feel like that they have trouble sleeping and stuff its better for them to have something to atleast help them sleep so their body can rest and recover. :(

He wants to be next to me. I can't sleep bc he's tossing and turning. I moved him over a little. As I lay here he is sideways w/his head on my belly. A minute ago he was sideways with his foot up on my chest. This should be fun lol.
Yes, we can thank the idiots who can't read. Why can't they make pre-measured doses then and sell that? Ugh

do you have any decaf tea ? try giving him some warm sweet tea the sugar will coat his sore throat and the steam from the tea will help clear him out.

He is 16 months :(
The last cold he had lasted 2 weeks...not fun for either one of us. I'm going to see if they'll at least give him cough medicine this time

Ooohhh I do. I didn't even think of that. His eyes are closed and he's lightly sleeping. If he stirs some then I'll try it.
